I ordered Slim in 6 four months ago and soon began the program. Slowly I began seeing reults. However, I only did the program 4-5 times a week. Had I done the recommended 6 days a week I'm sure the results would have been better. Debbie is a good motivator and I never really got sick of seeing her (the niceness helps). Overall, it is a good program and will bring results if you follow the guidlines.

However, Beachbody's costumer service is HORRENDOUS. The infomercial makes it seem as if you getting all 3 dvds at the time of purchase, when you really only get 2, and then they charge you again to get the last set. I had 8 phone conversations and 4 emails with representatives because they said they fix something and never did. They even shipped and charged me for a brand new set that I never ordered! When I finally spoke with a supervisor, she was rude and impersonal. I told her then that I would never buy another product from this company until they got their act together. Her response: "Is there anything else you need today." !!!Because of this, I would never deal with Beachbody again. It is not worth the hasle and extra money being taken that has to be replaced....order it from Amazon!

I LOVE Hip Hop Abs!I have never been one to enjoy exercising, but definitely needed something to keep me active, and I was tired of donating to gyms (going maybe once in a year's time!).Hip Hop Abs was the answer for me!I actually look forward to popping in the dvd and dancing up a sweat (honestly!).Before I know it, the time has slipped away and I've completed an awesome cardio workout.Shaun T keeps me motivated and moving the entire time, he keeps me pushing myself to my limit during the duration of every workout.I have a pretty bad back and knee and am always afraid of re-injuring myself when I try new workouts---I am pleased to say any of the aches I feel after this workout are all in the right places (especially my abs and butt!)!No knee or back pain whatsoever!If I start a dvd a little more sore than usual, I'll follow "Tanya" who provides modifications for all the moves and still get in a great workout. I have accumulated a plethora of workout dvd's from yoga to tae bo, to cardio express and Jillian Michael's...but I keep coming back to Hip Hop Abs.It's really as fun as a workout can get!Enjoy!

Finally, I was able to try one of Cathe Friedrich's new DVDs.Her "Low Max" workout is intense, but fun.I really enjoyed it and burned a TON of calories in the process.

This workout is mostly a low impact step routine with intervals of floor toning, but it isn't easy by any means.I don't recommend it for beginners or anyone with two left feet!The music is great, but the fast tempo and intense pace will frustrate those new to step aerobics.Cathe mixes a few dance moves, like the mambo and the chacha, so the choreography may require some amount of practice.Still, if you're up for the challenge and looking to workup a SERIOUS sweat, this DVD is for you.:-)

I plan to order more DVDs from Cathe in the future.She does a good job of cueing and looks great!

I've done some workouts with Cathe on FitTv and decided to purchase a video (no commercials!) This is a great multi-use DVD which targets chest, triceps, biceps, shoulders, core, and legs.While Cathe uses barbells you can use dumbells at home for the same effect.She also uses a stability ball for core and some biceps.I use it for chest too.

The cardio workouts contain moves I havent seen with other workouts (Voight, Smith, Austin) so it was challenging to learn her routines but worth it in the end.These ARE NOT beginner level step/hi-lo workouts!

The workouts start with 20 minutes of cardio then 20 minutes or so of weight training, core, stretch/cool down.

Some interesting features of this CD are:
1. You can select an emphasis on music, vocals or an equal share of both.Music for those who are experienced, vocals for those learning, and equal share for the rest.

2. Workout Blender:Allows you to pre-select how you want the elements of each workout to be presented WITHOUT having to return to the menu and select the next routine.So you plug-in the routines (say cardio-weight train-cardio-weight train so forth) and hit PLAY! There's also Mix n Match where you return to the menu and select a new workout by scrolling through the selections.

This is a great 5-day workout, few of the cardio routines are dupblicated through the week too so you get a relatively new workout every day. There are some challenging spots that she doesnt give a lot of time for you to learn so you have to rewind to get it right the first few times.

he weight training is appropriate for all levels w/ traditional workout moves with emphasis on core and stability, slow and fast movements.

#1: warm up, step, chest/triceps, stretch
#2: warm up, step, hi/lo, back/core, stretch
#3: warm up, step, bicpes/core, stretch
#4: warm up, cardio kick, shoulders, stretch
#5: warm, legs, glutes, abs, stretch

I like this low impact workout.It's a switch in pace for Cathe but it's still a fun and challenging workout.You will definately burn fat and calories here.The step workout is about 29-30 minutes and then there is a toning segment too.It is more geared toward a less advanced exerciser, but everyone will get benefits from this.The cardio features faster/slower intervals and has lots of interesting-but-doable combos (e.g. "around the world," "rocking horse" - which aren't new). It's mostly low impact, but does have some higher-impact bursts.In the toning segment, you will use a stability ball for almost all of the exercises.You also need some weights too.I enjoy doing this, and as I said earlier - it is fun and motivating. Go get this and do it 4 times a week along with other dvds to keep up your interest.

First of all let me say that the DVDs which are included are actually useful. I went from 245 to 220 in two months using this thing 4 times a week. My biceps muscles have never grown so fast... if you are looking to loose weight and get a firmer body I highly recommend this... Don't expect this to be a easy work out... DVDs are intense, quick and evidently work great

I saw this come up and I had to give this a rating it deserved.I'll hope to expand later.

Does this come in separate boxes?Yes, about six.(I had more as I bought extra.)Does it take a while to put together?Yes, a few hours over a few days.Has it been amazing?Yes.I saw nearly instantaneous results.It's easy to use and makes working out from home a dream.I can shift between various exercises quickly and easily.I highly recommend it.

Also, I highly recommend the ab attachment, which is not included in this.It makes an ab workout easier, faster and more effective.
