I came across the interlocking foam mat on amazon and decided to give this product a try. To my surprise the foam mats not only absorbed the weight that was being put onto my hardwood floors but it also prevented future scratches. I am also able to run on my tread mill while my newborn daughter is sleeping in the next room because the mats helped reduce the noise level.I would definitely recommend this product to others.

(More customer reviews)I purchased the exercising equipment floor protection mats because I decided to invest in my own personal gym at home. Unfortunatly, I did not have room in my house so my home gym is situated in the garage. I purchased a treadmill, weights, etc for my gym. The problem that I encountered with my personal home gym was that my parents who are in their 60s, keep tripping over the equipment because the color of the machine blends in with the dark gray flooring. With the black and white sides edges of the protection mat was exactly what I needed. Now my parents are safe and I have my own personal gym.

(More customer reviews)This mat is serviceable, but it's a bit lightweight, and not as sturdy as hoped for.The edges curl up on the ends, and after almost 3 weeks under the elliptical, still hasn't settled into a completely flat surface.Like indicated, it's functional, but I wish it wasn't as thin a product.
