(More customer reviews)I recently purchased a tread mill for my family, and after a few weeks of using the tread mill I noticed many scratches on my hardwood floor. I came across the interlocking foam mat on amazon and decided to give this product a try. To my surprise the foam mats not only absorbed the weight that was being put onto my hardwood floors but it also prevented future scratches. I am also able to run on my tread mill while my newborn daughter is sleeping in the next room because the mats helped reduce the noise level.I would definitely recommend this product to others.

(More customer reviews)I actually ordered a more expensive treadmill mat and Amazon sent this one instead.I considered keeping this mat and opened the box to check it out.I can definitely say that it's going back.The material is really thin.There's also a disclaimer in the box that this mat only has a one year warranty, which doesn't cover tears, rips, or punctures.The material is so thin that I wouldn't be surprised if placing my treadmill on it will puncture it immediately.I obviously can't give an adequate review because I'm sending it back for the original mat that I ordered, but I just wanted to give my initial impressions of the mat.Double check to make sure Amazon sends you the correct product!I've read other reviews where customers have received the incorrect treadmill mat from Amazon.I hope it's accidental, but they should have corrected the problem by now.

Unfortunatly, I did not have room in my house so my home gym is situated in the garage. I purchased a treadmill, weights, etc for my gym. The problem that I encountered with my personal home gym was that my parents who are in their 60s, keep tripping over the equipment because the color of the machine blends in with the dark gray flooring. With the black and white sides edges of the protection mat was exactly what I needed. Now my parents are safe and I have my own personal gym.

(More customer reviews)This mat is serviceable, but it's a bit lightweight, and not as sturdy as hoped for.The edges curl up on the ends, and after almost 3 weeks under the elliptical, still hasn't settled into a completely flat surface.Like indicated, it's functional, but I wish it wasn't as thin a product.

(More customer reviews)My wife uses and elliptical machine religiously. We just moved into a different home that happens to have brand new carpet. We naturally wanted an exercise equipment mat to protect the flooring. The placement of the equipment, however, is in a corner where too long of a mat would have extended into a traffic area. After looking at all the mats on Amazon, it was obvious that the standard length is 70+" (72 mostly) whereas we needed just 60-65".

We ordered this mat and placed it under the machine. It is 84 inches long segmented into 12" folding sections. The material is very high quality and it does not mark or stain the carpet. With the folds, this mat fit perfectly under our unit. It should be noted that the elliptical has front and rear feet with a raised portion in between. The folded section fits underneath this raised portion. If you have a flat or wobbly piece of equipment, you may not want to fold the mat as the folded section is obviously a tad higher than the adjacent mat. It was perfect for what we needed.
