(More customer reviews)I normally do not write reviews, but I felt obligated to after purchasing 100 sq ft of these carpeted mats.

First, let me state that the build quality of the mats are excellent.They have an ample amount of padding and the carpet is very soft.

I live in an upper-level condo where all the floors are hardwood.Even though I have rugs everywhere, my downstairs neighbor complained about footstep noise.As carpet would have cost over $1000, I decided to try this product instead.Almost immediately after installing it my neighbor thanked me for 'doing whatever I did' because the noise is gone.

This product is also a big plus for me because I have a dog.If I were to have installed carpet and my dog were to rip part of it up, I would be pretty much out of luck.However, if he were to destroy any of the carpeted tiles, I would only need to replace that one tile.

One side note:Each individual tile comes with 2 side pieces.1 is designed for a corner and the other is designed for an edge.You will find that you have extra corner pieces and not enough edge pieces.In order to rectify this, hold an edge and a corner piece side by side and cut the corner portion off using a pair of scissors.Viola... corner pieces can be converted to edge pieces.... problem solved.
